Insert the supplied foam strip onto the bottom
surface of the radio sleeve. Ensure the gap between
the strip and the cradle is even on both sides of the
foam strip. Firmly press down on the strip.

Ensure both gaps are even

Connect the HM5065E wiring harness
connector to the vehicle connector.

photo).
Connect the HM5064 radio wiring
harness as shown.
•
Check that the fuse is secure in the fuse
holder.
•
Check that all leads are affixed into both
plugs of HM5065E harness except the
telephone mute cable.
5. Connect the aerial and wiring harness to the
radio.
6. Position the radio on an angle and gently insert
the radio into the install sleeve.
Position the radio on an angle to assist in
sliding over the foam strip.
7. Be sure the radio sits over the foam strip.
Ensure the strip is not pulled off the sleeve.
Do
not
push the radio all the way into the Locking
position at this stage.
8. You now need to confirm that all controls are
operational.
Ensure the radio is firmly into position
