2.  Disconnect the attached wiring harness and 

aerial connector from the rear of the blanking 
plate.

Discard the blanking plate. 

  
 

 

3.  Insert the supplied foam strip onto the 

bottom surface of the radio sleeve. Ensure 
the gap between the strip and the cradle is 
even on both sides of the foam strip. Firmly 
press down on the strip.

Ensure both gaps are even 

4. Connect the HM5065E wiring harness 

connector to the vehicle connector. 

(See 

photo). 

 

1. Check that the fuse is secure in the fuse 

holder. 

 

2. Check that all leads are affixed into both 

plugs of HM5065E harness except the
