
6. Position the radio on an angle and gently
insert the radio into the install sleeve.
Position the radio on an angle to assist in
sliding over the foam strip.
7. Be sure the radio sits over the foam strip.
Ensure the strip is not pulled off the sleeve.
Do not
push the radio all the way into the
Locking position at this stage.
Be sure the radio is firmly into position.
8. You now need to confirm that all controls are operational.
9. Position transit fuse into operational mode.
This fuse is located in the interior fuse box behind the N/S lower dash cover.
10. The Anti-Theft security code needs be entered.
ANTI-THEFT SECURITY CODE INPUT PROCEDURE.
To activate the security code, please follow these steps.
1. Turn on the stereo.
2. If the stereo screen indicates “1 CDE”, this is a message that you need to
enter the anti-theft security code.
3. The security code number can be found printed on the plastic card supplied
with the new audio unit.
4. Every Hyundai stereo has it’s own individual anti-theft security code.
Entering an incorrect code or using incorrect procedures will not activate the
stereo to the operational status.
5. The anti-theft code is made up of four computer-generated numbers.
