Ensure both gaps are
NOTE
- to avoid damaging the center
Facia, place a piece of cloth tape along
the bottom edge of the center facia
underneath the screwdriver.

Insert the screwdriver 45mm inwards from the
bottom edge, on both sides and remove blanking
plate with your fingers.
Disconnect the wiring harness and aerial from the
blanking plate. Discard the plate
4) Disconnect the wiring harness and
aerial connector from the rear of the
blanking plate.
(See photo).
5) Insert the supplied foam strip onto the
bottom surface of the radio sleeve.
Ensure the gap between the strip and
the cradle is even on both sides of the
foam strip. Firmly press down on the
strip.

Ensure both gaps are even
6) Connect the HM5065TA wiring harness
connector to the vehicle connector.
(See photo).
Connect the HM5065TA radio wiring harness
and illumination wire as shown.
a) Check that the fuse is secure in
the fuse holder.
b) Check that all leads are affixed
into both plugs of HM5065TA
harness except the telephone
mute cable.
7) Connect the aerial, wiring harness and
illumination wire to the radio.
8) Insert the radio into the install sleeve.
Do not
push the radio all the way into
the locking position at this stage.

9) You now need to confirm that all
controls are operational.
