alarm control panel

Check and reconnect cables to
the fire alarm sounder.

If the fault persists, replace by
following instructions in 4.4.1.6
Replacing a Fire Alarm Sounder
(Standard).

Gas release
indicator

Disconnect the red
and black cables
from the pressure
announciator, and
short-circuit the
cables from the fire
alarm control panel
to the pressure
announciator.

The gas release
indicator is on.

Replace by following instructions in
4.4.1.3 Replacing the Gas Release
Indicator (Standard).

Heat
detector

Heat the heat
detector using a
heating device.

If the
temperature is
below the
alarm
threshold
(54–70°C), the
gas release
indicator
blinks once
every 6
seconds.

If the fault persists, replace by
following instructions in 4.4.1.2
