Prerequisites

Spare VESDA power box batteries of the same model are available and functional.

Tools: Phillips screwdriver, protective gloves

Materials: spare VESDA power box batteries

Documents: fire extinguishing device layout diagram (standard)

Skill requirement: fire engineer

For the diagrams, see the initial configuration parameter manual for the solution in use.

Procedure

Step 1

Move the VESDA power box batteries to the installation position indicated on the fire
extinguishing device layout diagram.

Step 2

Switch off the standby power supply for the VESDA.
