SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial:CONTrol:RTS
controls the behavior of the Request
To Send (RTS) output line. RTS can be a static state (ON/OFF), or it can be used as
a hardware handshake line (IBFull).
SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial:CONTrol:RTS?
returns a string (enumerated) with
the control value for RS-232 communication. The string is either “ON”, “OFF”, or
“IBF.”

RTS ON means the RTS line is asserted; OFF means the RTS line is
unasserted.
•
RTS IBFull means that while the input buffer is not yet full, RTS is asserted.
When the buffer becomes full, RTS becomes unasserted.
Reset Condition
*RST resets RTS to the last value saved by the SYST:NVS command.
