9. Getting ready to work with attachments
64
Failure to comply with the following can result in serious or fatal injuries, and damage to the
tractor.
l
Do not smoke or light an open fire while handling hydraulic fluid.
l
Do not allow hydraulic fluid l to contact exhaust system.
Warning:
Risk of slipping
Avoid spilling hydraulic fluid. Failure to comply could result in serious or fatal injuries, and
damage to the tractor.
Caution:
Risk of injuries from fluids and lubricants
Failure to comply with the following could result in injuries and damage to the tractor:
l
Wear personal protective equipment (safety gloves and glasses).
l
Follow the manufacture's instructions of a product you are using.
1. Actuate the appropriate switches (ignition switched on) to float the hydraulic lines and
depressurize the hydraulic system.
2. Fold up the protective caps of the hydraulic couplings.
Warning:
Risk of improper connection of hydraulic lines
Failure to comply with the following could result in serious or fatal injuries, and damage to the
tractor.
l
Hydraulic plugs fit every hydraulic coupling and can therefore be mixed up. When
connecting, pay close attention to the function or movement of the attachment that is to
be carried out by operating the lever assigned to the hydraulic coupling.
l
In case of unclear functions, undertake a test drive with respect to the connection
functions only in a secured area.
3. Connect the colored hydraulic lines of the attachment to the hydraulic couplings of the tractor of
the same color by pressing the plug into the coupling until it snaps into place.
4. The adjustable accessories hydraulic pump and flow divider II couplings are connected to one
another by turning the tractor-side ring clockwise.
To disconnect hydraulic lines:
1. Turn off the engine but keep the ignition on.
2. Actuate all switches of the hydraulic connections in use and of the lift several times. This reduces
the pressure in the hydraulic system and the hydraulics.
3. Push back the outer ring on the tractor and pull out the hydraulic coupling.
