chapter. Otherwise, continue
the routine inspection and go to the next routine procedure.
15. Checking radiator and dirt screens
This routine procedure verifies that the radiator and radiator screen are in proper condition.
To check the radiator and dirt screens:
1. Push and turn the radiator screen lock.
2. Carefully pull the radiator screen out of its housing and inspect the screen and radiator front for
cleanliness.
3. If necessary, clean the screen and radiator.
4. Inspect the radiator for damage and leaks.
5. Verify that the bottom of the radiator does not have any loose, damaged, or missing connections.
6. Inspect the bottom of the radiator for cleanliness. The area must be free of dust, dirt, mud, salt,
and any other foreign objects. If needed, clean the bottom of the radiator.
Caution:
Any foreign objects such as trash, leaves, or dirt trapped in the radiator cause
radiator overheating, which leads to engine damage.
7. Reinstall the radiator screen.
8. If you detect any faults or non-compliance, refer to
Troubleshooting
section. Otherwise,
continue the routine inspection and go to the next routine procedure.
16. Checking engine oil
This routine procedure verifies that the tractor has the appropriate amount of engine oil.
Before checking engine oil:
1. Turn on the engine.
Caution:
Joystick is a sensitive electronic device. Do not use force while operating it.
2. Lift the dump platform.
a. Press and hold button 1 on the joystick.
b. Pull the joystick backwards to lift the dump platform.
3. Shut off the tractor and remove the ignition key from the ignition to prevent accidental starting of
the engine.
4. Attach the dump platform safety guard and secure it with the lock pin.
