5. Grease the center drive shaft U-joints until the grease comes out. Ensure that the grease gets into
the lubrication nipple.
6. Move the lower drive shaft until the lubrication nipple is easily accessible?
7. Grease the lower drive shaft U-joints. Ensure that the grease gets into the lubrication nipple.
8. Grease the splines of the drive shafts.
9. Turn the tractor all the way to the left and right several times at slow speed to allow the grease to
spread in and onto the articulated shafts.
10. Lightly grease all 28 lubrication nipples, as shown on the picture.
21. Checking safety/warning signs
This procedure provides instructions on how to verify whether the tractor has all required
safety/warning signs in place.
To check the safety/warning signs inside the cab, inspect the following:
1. Upper corners of the windscreen for the following signs:
l
Do not engage/disengage PTO above 1500 rpm.
l
Do not engage diff lock above 1200 rpm.
l
Air filter horn will sound if air filter requires maintenance. Check filter and clean or replace.
l
Idle unit down before shutting down. Failure to do so may cause damage to turbo.
2. Steering column for the following signs:
l
Seat belt must be worn in the vehicle at all times.
l
Read this manual before operating the tractor.
3. Radio console for the sign:
l
Do not transport people if the passenger seat is not available. Danger of injuries.
4. Right side of the joystick console for the sign:
l
Speed control in # 3 or 4 (?)
To check the safety/warning signs outside the cab, inspect the following:
1. Right and left of the rear side of the cab for the signs:
l
Presence in the articulated area is forbidden. Danger of severe crushing and injuries.
l
Keep clear of the tractor center while in operation.
2. Left and right front sides of the dump box, if the dump box is installed for the sign:
l
Do not overfill. Fill to top of box only.
Caution:
If any sign is missing or damaged, contact the nearest Holder-accredited facility
for a replacement to ensure your warranty fulfillment.
