Tip
Direct contact of the jack with the tractor can damage the corrosion protection. Use a suitable piece of
wood ( ?) between the jack and lifting point.
2. Jack up the tractor only at the indicated jacking points at the rear and front .
Tightening wheel nuts and threaded connections
Retighten wheel nuts and threaded connections
1. Tighten the screw connections for servo pumps, axes and motor.
2. Tighten threaded connections with the appropriate torque according to tables in the maintenance data.
3. Retighten all wheel nuts on the front and rear wheels. Tightening torque 340 Nm.
Replacing a wheel
The following procedure provides instructions on how to replace a wheel.
Danger:
Risk of tractor falling down or tipping over
Replacing a wheel is a hazardous procedure and must be executed as outlined. Failure to
comply can result in serious or fatal injuries, and damage to the tractor.
Before replacing a wheel:
1. Ensure that the tractor is parked only on level ground.
2. Ensure that the parking brake is engaged.
3. Dismount all attachments if applicable.
4. Ensure that the permissible load capacity of the jack does not exceed 2700 kg / 6000 lb., half the
weight of the tractor.
To replace a wheel:
1. Break free all six wheel nuts with a large ratchet or breaker bar and a 24-mm socket.
2. Loosen wheel nuts only. Do not remove them.
3. Jack up the tractor to the point when the wheel to be changed is no longer in contact with the
ground. Follow
Jacking up tractor
procedure.
Caution:
Wheels are heavy and can easily fall off the wheel bolts. Disregarding this
guideline may lead to injuries or damage to the tractor.
4. Remove all six wheel nuts, holding the wheel in place.
