Vehicle positioning
The car position icon, see page
108, location may vary before the
navigation signal is received:
• When turning the power on
• When using the system for the
first time
• Occasionally, when driving on a
freeway or through a tunnel
• When driving on a very
steep road
• When driving on a twisting road
• If swerving on a wide road
• When returning to ground level
after driving in an underground
car park or a multi-level car park
• When returning from a road
which is newly constructed to a
road recorded in a map file
• When making a right/left turn
to enter a road that has parallel
roads nearby (less than 50 m
distance), the car position icon,
may go to another road.
• When in a rotary elevator, the
arrow of the car position icon
may not point in the correct
direction.
Continue driving and the system will
adjust to the correct position.
