RVC display
The camera display appears on the
infotainment screen, when reverse
gear is selected. See Operating the
RVC on page 178.
The area directly behind the vehicle
is displayed in real time.
Note
• The distance of objects seen on
the screen differs from the actual
distance.
• The area displayed on the screen
may vary according to vehicle
orientation or road conditions.
Cleaning
The lens requires regular cleaning to
ensure optimum performance.
Use only a soft cloth, mild soap
and water.
Warning
Do not use abrasive cleaners
or scouring pads as they could
scratch the lens, impairing the
systems performance.
• Objects of different heights will
appear to be different distances
from the vehicle.
• The grid on the display is to
used as a guide only. It does not
represent a set distance from
the vehicle.
• The RVC display will override all
other operating displays.
• The RVC display may be
temporarily interrupted when
some audio system or climate
control settings are changed.
Operating the RVC
To activate:
1. Turn the ignition control knob to
the on position.
2. Select reverse gear.
The camera automatically
activates.
Note
When the shift lever is moved
to another position, the camera
deactivates.
