This unit:

formats meeting the following:
- File system: ISO 9660
level 2 Romeo/Joliet (128
characters)
• Can playback MP3/WMA files
meeting the following:
- MP3: MPEG1 audio layout3,
MPEG2 audio layout3,
MPEG2.5 audio layout3
- WMA: WMA9
• Recognises a total of 999 files of
512 folders and of 10 hierarchies.
CD-R format
Sound quality may be reduced
due to:
• Method of recording
• Recording quality
• CD handling
Handling CDs
• Avoid leaving fingerprints on the
CD when removing it.
• Store any CDs in their protective
covers.
• Ensure that CDs are clean and
dry before inserting.
• Protect CDs from heat and direct
sunlight.
Audio system care
• Do not clean using cleaning fluid,
alcohol or other solvents. Use
only a damp cloth and wipe from
the centre to the outer edge.
• Do not apply paint or colour to
the audio system fascia.
• Do not dismantle the audio
system. If a problem occurs,
contact a Holden Dealer.
CD messages
If
Disc Error
appears on the audio
display screen and/or the CD is
ejected:
Caution
Avoid inserting any foreign
objects into the slot of the player.
Failure to observe this may
cause malfunction due to the
precise mechanism of this unit.
MP3/WMA format
• CDs with extensions other than
.mp3 or .wma may not play.
• Do not place standard audio and
MP3/WMA files on one disc.
• Song title, artist name and album
will be displayed when recorded
using ID3 tags version 1 and 2.
• If creating folders, create a
structure that makes it easy to
find songs while driving.
• To conserve space on a disc,
minimise the length of the file
and folder names.
• Record onto CD-R discs.
