Notes on operation
• A short single confirmation alarm
will sound to confirm that the
sensors are operational.
• If the sensors receive other
ultrasonic signals e.g. metallic
sounds or exhaust brake noise
from heavy commercial vehicles,
the system may not work
properly.
• The system may not activate
if the sensors are frozen or
covered with dirt.
•
r
may illuminate on the
instrument cluster when the
sensors are dirty.
Clean dirty sensors with a soft
sponge and clean water.
If the warning light remains on,
contact a Holden Dealer as soon
as possible.
• Do not push or scratch the
surface of the sensors.
• Do not hit or direct high pressure
water directly at the sensors as
they may be damaged.
• The system may not operate
correctly when the vehicle is
driven over uneven surfaces.
• The system may not recognise
sharp objects, thick winter
clothes or other materials which
absorb ultrasonic waves.
• The alarm sounds may be
different depending on the object.
• Deactivation when towing:
RPA – The system will
automatically be deactivated
when a trailer lighting plug is
connected to the vehicle.
It will activate again when the
plug is removed.
r
will illuminate on the
instrument cluster while the
trailer lighting plug is connected.
