The battery charging level is indicated briefly on the LED on top of the
foot control when you activate the foot control or press an ear / intermediate ring.
Green:
The batteries are fully charged
Yellow:
The batteries are partly charged. You can continue to work
Red:
The batteries need charging. Immediately charge foot control or
connect the foot control cable.
When charging, the charging lamp will light steadily red after a short foot control
activation. The charging lamp will not light green until the batteries are fully charged.
The battery in the foot control shall be charged with the supplied network adapter or
via the supplied foot control cable to the unit. (requires that the Dental Delivery
System is turned on).
If the foot control is used Monday at 8.00 to Friday at 16.00 o’clock the calculated
power consumption will be:
With an instrument active 2 hours a day, 567 mAh
With an instrument active 4 hours a day, 795 mAh
The foot control must be charged using the power adaptor from Friday afternoon until
Monday morning.

Caution:
When shipping or if the foot control is not used for a long time, for example
during holidays, the batteries must be removed from the foot control, as they can be
permanently damage from being discharged completely.

The batteries are a part of an Medical Equipment and approved for the foot
control. No other batteries are allowed. Heka Dental A/S can supply for spare
batteries.
