5.4 Light polymerization instrument
If the equipment does not work as described below,
contact an authorized Heka Dental dealer immediately.
The following descriptions apply to the UnicLine S standard foot control. For
instructions on the UnicLine S variable foot control please see the instructions
specific to this.
Activation of the light polymerization instrument
To activate the polymerization instrument, lift it from the instrument table. The
display for the light polymerization instrument indicates the pre-programmed
polymerization time.
If you are using the FARO EDI light, the light intensity will automatically be reduced
and will not return to full intensity until either the motor or the turbine is lifted from
the instrument holder. This function can be disconnected, see programming/menu
structure.
Press the activation ring of the foot control. When the press is stopped, the light
polymerization starts with the programmed time.
To interrupt the polymerization, put the instrument back on the instrument table.
Modification of the light polymerization time
When the instrument is lifted from the instrument table, the display indicates the
pre-programmed light polymerization time.
This time can be modified by pressing "arrow up" on the instrument display to
increase or "arrow down" to reduce the polymerization time.
