10.2.28 Coarse flow monitor time interval (Cors.mon.(s))
The command is used to monitor breakage (sack breakage) during the coarse
flow phase. Enter the increase in weight you expect per time interval in a nor­
mal filling process. At the end of the coarse flow lockout time, the increase is
then checked after each time interval. If the weight increase rate is not ex­
ceeded, the fact is interpreted as a breakage of the container being filled, and
dosing is aborted. Coarse flow fill flow monitoring is deactivated when the
coarse flow cut-off point is reached.
In the event of a breakage:
S
the coarse flow and fine flow are cut off;
S
in the dosing status (SDO), bit 6 (Alarm) is set to 1;
S
when the Fill flow On alarm is set, an alarm is triggered;
S
the dosing control goes to the stop condition.
10.2.29 Coarse flow lockout time (Lockout crs(s))
For the specified time after turning on the coarse flow, the comparison of the
actual weight against reaching of the coarse flow cut-off point is disabled. The
time does not delay the filling process.
In the case of chunky fill material, especially, it might happen that the first
items that drop into the container after the coarse flow starts generate load
spikes which immediately cause the coarse flow cut-off point to be exceeded.
You can prevent that with this setting. Experience shows that the lockout time
should be about 10 % of the coarse flow dosing time. If you are using the
coarse flow cut-off point monitor, the lockout time must be sufficient for mate­
rial to enter the container.
