Maintenance

7.2.2

Change halogen lamp

1.

Push the clamp slide upward as far as possible (

Figure 7

 

step 1).

2.

Grasp the connector and pull it out of the lamp holder along 
with the lamp (

Figure 7

 step 2).

3.

Release the connector from the lamp (

Figure 7

 step 3).

Figure 7

 Change halogen lamp  

To fit a new lamp carry out the procedure in reverse.

1.

Connect a new lamp to the connector, whereby the cable 
points upward and the round part of the lamp socket 
downward.

2.

Place the lamp along with the connector back in the lamp 
holder.

3.

Secure the lamp with the clamp slide. To do this, push the 
connector against the lamp holder and push the clamp slide 
downward as far as possible.

4.

Put the lamp compartment cover back into position.

5.

Use a cross-head screwdriver to tighten the cover screws.

6.

Turn the instrument back to the correct position.

C A U T I O N

Burn hazard. 

Wait until the lamp cools down. Contact with the hot lamp can cause 
burns.

N O T I C E

Only hold lamp at lamp holder. Avoid touching the glass, as 
substances on the skin can bake onto the lamp bulb and thus 
accelerate the ageing process of the lamp.
