Non-Invasive Blood Pressure
The cuff is not inflated although the pump is operating.
Cause 1 : The air hose is not firmly connected, and the air is leaking.
Solution
: Check if the air hose is properly connected.
Cause 2 : The cuff size does not match the selected patient type.
Solution
: Check if the cuff size matches the selected patient type.
The monitor repeats the measurement, or “
ｰ ｰ ｰ
” is displayed for the numeric data.
Cause 1 : The measurement accuracy is not reliable due to body motion artifact.
Solution
: Have the patient stay still as much as possible during the measurement.
Cause 2 : The pulse is too small to acquire reliable measurement accuracy.
Solution
: Check if the cuff application is done properly, and if the cuff size matches the selected
patient type.

” is displayed under the measurement box, and an error code (C01–C11) is displayed.
Cause : The NIBP measurement result was not obtained due to the following error:
C01: Pressure Time out.

The pressure could not reach the target value or 50mmHg.
C02: Blood pressure is uncertain.
・
Could not measure the blood pressure even if the measurement occurred.
C03: Abnormal deflation.
・
Deflation stopped due to continuous body motion (15s).
・
Deflation speed is more than 1mmHg/sec. over 5 seconds.
・
Deflation started but pressure did not drop by 30mmHg within 20 seconds.
・
Deflation started but the pressure speed could not reach target within 10 sec.
C04: Insufficient Inflation.
・
The first 5 amplitude pulses were on a decreasing trend.
・
SYS could not be measured.
・
The differential pressure between pulses were too large.
C05: Abnormal Oscillation pattern.
・
The differential pressure between pulses was too large.
・
Too much offset in the pulse.
C06: Abnormal Blood pressure.

Set Inflation value>SYS>MAP>DIA could not be achieved.
・
SYS amplitude pulse is too small.

Pulse pressure is too small.

DIA amplitude pulse is too small.
C07: Measurement time out.
・
Could not measure within the specified time.
C08: Pulse OVER
・
Too many pulse obtained during measurement.
C09: Over inflation
・
The maximum pressure was exceeded.
C10: Abnormal Pulse amplitude.
・
The pulse amplitude was too big.
・
The pulse amplitude was too small.
C011: Cuff Size check
・
Neonate cuff was detected in the adult mode.
・
Infant cuff was detected in the adult mode.
・
Neonate cuff was detected in the infant mode.
Solution : Check if the air hose is correctly connected.
Check if the patient classification matches the size of the cuff and make sure that the
cuff is correctly attached to the patient.
