Telemetry Transmitter Module
The HLX-501/HLX-561 Telemetry Transmitter Module can be attached to the DS-7000.
Use the OA0-23A Wire Adapter (optional accessory of HLX-501/HLX-561) to connect the
HLX-501/HLX-561 to the ORC connector on the DS-7000. Then use the mounting plate to fix it on
to the DS-7000.

The DS-700 can be networked with DS-5000, DS-7000 series central monitor using the DS-LAN

Securely connect the LAN Branch Cable (CJ-522) to the DS-LAN

Connector on the DS-7000.
To validate the connection, the Hospital Name and OR ID must be set properly on the DS-7000.
Serial Connector
The DS-7000 is equipped with 4 serial connectors (COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4) to connect
various external equipments. Securely connect the cable of the respective equipment to one of the
connectors.
To validate the connection, the connected equipment must be properly set on the DS-7000 serial
communication setup menu.
The external equipment should be connected to the appropriate serial connector with the
corresponding function.
