
Checking Whether Another Computer Is Connected to the
ScanSnap (iX1600 / iX1500)
Another computer may be connected to the ScanSnap in the following cases:
l
The ScanSnap Manager icon in the notification area is
l
The user name displayed in the upper left of the home screen on the touch panel is another user
To connect to the ScanSnap, select the user name of the computer that is connected to the
ScanSnap in the [Selecting a User] screen on the touch panel.

When the ScanSnap and the computer are connected via a USB cable, you can connect to the
ScanSnap in either of the following procedures.
l
Unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in.
Make sure to leave at least 5 seconds between unplugging and plugging the cable.
l
Restart ScanSnap Manager.
l
Turn off the ScanSnap and then turn it on again.
Make sure to leave at least 5 seconds between turning off and on the ScanSnap.
