The configuration of the connection blade is controlled by the management
blade. Each port group can be configured to a certain link protocol. The
management blade web interface allows the user to modify the port group link
speed configuration.

Preliminary steps
Before installing a single-width connection blade, perform the following steps:

If applicable, open the rack door as described in section

Locate the desired system unit as described in section

Locate the mounting bay for the new connection blade using the information
in section
