The service LAN port and the LAN ports for blade server management
must be in different LAN subnetworks.
It is recommended to operate the management blade user interface in a
separate broadcast domain for the server management.

Service LAN port (as a point-to-point connection, for system unit
administration only, no access to server blades and connection blades)

USB ports for backing up and restoring the MMB configuration and for
access to logging information

Serial port for a local management console
4,5 LAN ports for blade server management (including server blades and
connection blades). Customers must use the
Up
port (4) while the
Down
port (5) is reserved for service personnel.
