5.2.1
Updating / recovering the management blade
firmware
The procedures described in this section apply to different scenarios.
Updating the management blade firmware via management blade web
interface
– Two management blades are installed in the system unit and the
firmware of both must be updated.
– One management blade is installed in the system unit and works well.
The firmware must be updated to a later version to match new
requirements.
Updating the management blade firmware via recovery flash
– Two management blades are installed in the system unit and the
slave management blade has been replaced. The firmware of this
management blade must be updated to the same firmware version as
of the master.
– The only one management blade of a system unit has been replaced.
The management blade firmware must be updated to the same or a
later firmware version as of the old management blade.

menu for the desired management blade.
The firmware version is displayed in the
Blade Information
tab.
