Equipment Requirements
To properly complete the procedures in the remainder of this manual, you
must have the following equipment:
•
Philips screwdriver (number 1 tip size or similar)
•
Wire cutters
•
Small tie wraps
•
Antistatic wrist strap
Antistatic Precautions
Force recommends that you use an antistatic wrist strap when handling
internal components. In addition, follow these rules:
•
Do not allow any circuit board or component to touch non-conductors.
•
Ensure that your clothing does not make contact with any circuit board
or component.
•
Keep any loose circuit boards inside or on top of their special
conductive plastic wrappers.
•
Before you touch a loose circuit board or component, ensure that any
static electricity is discharged.
