Using Public mode (Power OFF)

Public mode (Power OFF) is set. (Nothing is changed on Stand-by display.)

After setting Public mode (Power OFF), the guidance "Tadaima keitaidenwa no dengen wo kiru
hitsuyou ga arubasho ni irutame denwa ni deraremasen. Nochihodo okakenaoshi kudasai. (I
cannot answer the call right now since I am in a public place where use of mobile phone is
restricted.)" plays to the caller.

Releasing Public mode (Power OFF)
Dial "

Public mode (Power OFF) is released.
■ Confirming the setting of Public mode (Power OFF)
Dial "

25259".
You can confirm the setting of Public mode (Power OFF).
Setting Public mode (Power OFF)
The setting is held until dialing "
e
25250" and releasing Public mode (Power OFF). The setting is not
released only by turning the power on.
Public mode (Power OFF) guidance also plays when you are out of service area or under poor radio wave
condition.
The guidance plays to the caller that you are in a public place where use of mobile phone is restricted and
the call is disconnected.
Relations with each network service under Public mode (Power OFF)
Each network service operates as follows in Public mode (Power OFF).
Service On receiving voice-calls On receiving video-phone calls
Voice mail service The guidance plays to notify that you are in
a place that mobile phones should be
turned off, and forward the call to the Voice
mail center.
Disconnects the call without connecting to
Voice mail center.
Call forwarding
service
The guidance that you are in a place that
mobile phones should be turned off, and
forward the call to the forwarding
destination.
The guidance to the caller follows the
guidance setting of Call forwarding
service. When setting forwarding guidance
to "ON", the guidance of Public mode
plays. When setting forwarding guidance
to "OFF", no guidance plays.
The image guidance that you are in Public
mode does not play and the call is
forwarded to the forwarding destination.
The call is disconnected when the phone
of the forwarding destination is not
applicable to Video-phone.
Nuisance call barring
service
When registering the caller as the caller to
reject, the guidance of failure in connection
plays to the caller and the call is
disconnected.
When registering the caller as the caller to
reject, the image guidance of failure in
connection plays to the caller and the call
is disconnected.
Caller ID request
service

If the caller does not notify Caller ID, the
image guidance plays to request to send
CallerID and the call is disconnected.

guidance of Public mode (Power OFF)
plays and the call is disconnected.
