You can set the image to be sent to the other party for making a video-phone call.

Enter a phone number,
or bring up the detailed display of a Phonebook entry, redial item, dialed call record,
or received call record.

p The setting is completed when you select “Me”.

To cancel the setting by call, select “Terminate (Release)”. The setting is completed.

If a video-phone call cannot be connected, it will be automatically redialed as a voice call.

Video-phone Voice call auto switch ON or OFF
You can let the other party know that your FOMA phone can switch between a voice call and video-phone
call. This function is set to “Activate” at the time of contract. When “Indicate V-phone” is set to “Activate”,
the caller can switch between the video-phone call and voice call.
p You cannot operate “Indicate V-phone” when you are out of the service area or radio waves do not reach, or during a call.

The priority order for images to be sent to the other party is; “Setting by call”
→
“Camera image sending”.
p The setting applies just for the one call (dial-out). The settings for “Camera image sending” and “Select image” do not change.
Further, the setting is not stored in Redial/Dialed Calls.
p The setting will be canceled if you make a voice call after setting “Select image”.

The charges for calls once switched to voice calls are billed at the rates for the voice calls.
p
Once the dialed video-phone is connected, the dialing operation for a voice call cannot be done.
p “Voice call auto switch” does not work when a video-phone call cannot be connected because the dialed video-phone is a non-existent
number, busy, out of the service area, off, or in Public Mode (Drive Mode).
p When you execute “Voice call auto switch”, only the last call is stored in Dialed Calls.
