TV sound while
closed You can set whether to continue outputting audio
when you close the FOMA phone while watching
TV.
ON or OFF
p When the setting is “OFF”, audio is silenced
when you close the FOMA phone. Audio is
played again when you open the FOMA phone
and press

You can set it also by selecting “TV sound w/
closed” from the Function menu of the Digital
TV Viewer display or Analog TV Viewer
display.

When the setting is “ON”, information appears
on the Private window when you close the
FOMA phone while watching TV.
Set image display You can set whether to display images of the
data broadcasting site. (See page 213)
Sound effect setting You can set whether to sound an effect tone of
the data broadcasting and the data broadcasting
site.

p You can set it also by selecting “Sound effect”
from the Function menu of the Digital TV
Viewer display.
Pictograph You can set whether to always display guide (see
page 320) while watching in Viewer style or
Switch style.

Viewer display or Analog TV Viewer display.
p When the setting is “OFF”, nothing might
appear and the display might get dark in the
poor radio wave conditions while you are
watching a digital TV program in horizontal
display.
Check TV settings You can confirm the User settings.

Reset channel setting You can initialize the channel setting.
The channel list of the digital TV is deleted when
you select it from “User settings” of “Digital TV”,
and channel list of analog TV is deleted when
you select it from “User settings” of “Digital TV”;
then settings return to default.
