Emergency Hydraulic Off Switch

There are two emergency hydraulic off switches located in instructor’s compartment and the cockpit. The
Emergency Hydraulic Off switch is located on the rear of the pedestal and is a toggle switch with a red
switch guard to protect it. It is accessible from either seat in the cockpit. To operate the Emergency
Hydraulic Off toggle switch, lift the red toggle switch cover and throw the toggle switch located inside.
See Figure 1-3. The other switch is a round, red, illuminated switch located on the Hydraulic Control
panel on the instructor’s console. When activated, the switches abort hydraulic power to the Motion and
Control Loading Systems. Electrical power is not disabled.
