Range Circles
The Range Circles overlay is accessed from the Area Map page by selecting the RANGE CIRCLES
button. The Range Circles overlay contains direct entry buttons used to position the circles. See Figure
3-26. Selecting CANCEL removes the overlay without making any changes.
ACTIVE -
The ACTIVE direct entry button enables the range circles. Repositioning the aircraft to
a different airport will not display the range circles at the new location. Select the ACTIVE button to
enable the circles. The button remains highlighted blue while the range circles are active.
AIRCRAFT -
The AIRCRAFT direct entry button positions the center of the range circles at the
aircraft location. The range circles does not move with the aircraft. Ensure the Range Circles are
enabled. Select the AIRCRAFT button to move the center of the range circles to the aircraft.
CURSOR -
The CURSOR direct entry button positions the center of the range circles at the
cursor. Ensure the Range Circles are enabled. Select the CURSOR button then touch the Area Map at
the desired position to move the center of the range circles to that position.
