RTO TRAINING

The RTO Training page is accessed by selecting the RTO TRAINING page button from the Master Index
page. See Figure 3-66. This page contains seven direct entry buttons, five are used to select preset training
exercises and the other two are Engine Quick Start and Track Erase. To the right of each button is a
description of the exercise. At the top of the page is a graphic representation of the active runway that
the instructor can use to monitor the student’s performance during the training exercise. A display box
showing the current aircraft and environmental conditions is located next to the training exercise
descriptions. Also located on the page is a ENG 1 FLAMEOUT malfunction overlay button. Refer to
paragraph 3.43.2., Preselect Parameters for more details.
