VISUAL TRAFFIC
The Visual Traffic page is accessed through the Active Airport/Repositions page or through the
Environment/Visual page by selecting the VISUAL TRAFFIC page button. The Visual Traffic page is
used to insert visual air and ground hazards into the simulation environment. The page is divided into
two boundary boxes. The boundary boxes are the Air Collision Hazards boundary box and the Ground
Hazards boundary box. See Figure 3-73.
The Air Collision boundary box consists of direct entry buttons each of which has a specific aircraft type
assigned to it. When a direct entry button has been selected, the associated aircraft type is enabled for an
air collision.
The Ground Hazards boundary box consists of direct entry buttons and an overlay button. Each of the
direct entry buttons has a specific ground hazard assigned to it that is active when the button is selected.
The HAZARD PATH overlay button will display an overlay for selecting the path the ground hazard will
take.
