2.3.3.

Compartment Lighting Switch

The Compartment Lighting switch is located on the switch panel near the door at the back of the instructor
compartment. It is used to operate the overhead compartment lights. This is a two-way switch which
works in conjunction with the compartment floodlight push button on the Lighting control panel to operate
the overhead lights. See Figure 2-7 for an illustration of the different configurations.

2.3.4.

Ramp Control Switches

The Ramp Control switches are located on rear switch panel near the exit door at the back of the simulator.
They are used to manually raise or lower the accessway ramp. See Figure 2-7 for the location. See Section
4, EMERGENCY CONDITIONS, for more information.
