4.1.3.

Fire Hazards

The simulator is equipped with an onboard fire detection system which is also tied into the facility fire
detection system. Each operator should be thoroughly familiar with its operation. A remote annunciator
is located on the back wall of the instructor station, and is equipped with audible and visual alarms to
alert personnel onboard the simulator of any hazardous conditions caused by fire. See Figure 4-1.
