PROGRAM EDITING
DELETE
Deletes the position values and the tool compensation indicator of the selected
axis.
If an axis does not show its position, it means that it has not been programmed in
that block.
NOTE: Do not mistake the “DELETE” function with the
key which
sets the axis position value to 0.
ASG TOOL
Used to select the type of tool compensation to be applied to the selected axis.
If the desired axis is not selected, use the
keys to do it before
selecting the “ASG TOOL” function.
The DRO will highlight the tool compensation type selected for that axis. If tool
compensation does not affect that axis, an empty area will be displayed instead.
Use the
to select the type of tool compensation:
No tool compensation.
Radius Compensation (R+)
Length Compensation (L+)
After selecting tool radius or length compensation, use the
keys to
select the sign of the compensation.
When done, press
for the DRO to assume the tool compensation value.
When the tool compensation must be applied during the execution of a program,
it is necessary to indicate in every block the type of tool compensation to be
applied.
Press the EXIT softkey to quit this function without making any modifications.
EXIT
Exits the block editing mode. The DRO will return to display the contents of the
program blocks updating the edited block with the assigned values.
