MACHINE AND POWER CONNECTION
This display mode shows the following fields or windows:
*
The position coordinates corresponding to each selected axis.
They are given in absolute or incremental values and in radius (RAD) or diameter
(DIA) depending on the setting of machine parameter Px09.
*
5 windows in reverse video showing the display conditions selected for the axes
positions.
ABS/INC Indicates absolute or incremental position values.
INCHES/MM Indicates work units in inches or millimeters for linear axes.
DEG/DMS Indicates the work units for rotary axes.
DEG
in 0.0001 degree units. ie: 129.3900°
DMS
in degrees, minutes and seconds. ie: 120° 23' 24"
REF nº Indicates the active reference point. Up to 10 absolute and incremental
reference points are available (REF 0 thru REF 9).
TOOL nº Indicates the number of the active tool.
*
A display area where the other absolute or incremental positions corresponding to the
selected axes are shown in small characters.
These position values are given in the same units, radius or diameter, as the work
position values.
To the right of the CRT, the DRO shows the various operating functions which can be
selected by using softkeys F1 thru F5.
Use the
and
keys to access the rest of the available functions in this operating
mode.
The different functions which can be selected are:
