PROGRAM EDITING
5.2 PROGRAM EDITING
Follow these steps to access this mode of operation:

Press the
key and select the “PROGRAMMING” option.

Select the “PROGRAM EDITING” option.
The DRO will display the part-program directory indicating for each one of them the
program number, its size (in blocks) and its associated status.
The functions appearing to the right of the Monitor which are selectable by means of
softkeys F1 thru F5 are:
EDIT
Used to access the program highlighted in the part-program directory in order to
view it or modify its contents.
Before pressing this softkey, select the desired program by using the
and
keys.
DELETE
Used to delete the program highlighted in the part-program directory.
Before pressing this softkey, select the desired program by using the
and
keys.
Once this function is selected, the DRO will ask for confirmation in order to avoid
accidental deletions.
INSERT
Used to edit a new program. This program will be inserted behind the one
highlighted in the part-program directory.
Before pressing this softkey, select the program behind which the new one will
be inserted by using the
and
keys.
Once the INSERT function is selected, the DRO will wait for the program
number to be entered. This program number may consist of up to 5 digits.
Then, press
, to start editing the program.
