PROGRAM EDITING
5.2.1 BLOCK EDITING
When pressing EDIT or INSERT, the DRO will permit the editing of the indicated
program as long as it is not protected.
The screen will show the contents of the program blocks and the selected block
number. To select another section of the program, use the
keys to scroll
it up and down a block at a time and the
keys to scroll it up and down
page by page.
The following options appear to the right of the screen and are selectable by means of
softkeys F1 thru F5:
EDIT BLOCK
Used to access the selected block (bottom of the screen) in order to view it or edit
its contents.
To select another block, use the
keys.
DELETE BLOCK
Deletes the selected block (bottom of the screen).
To select another block, use the
keys.
Once this function is selected, the DRO will request confirmation in order to avoid
accidental deletions.
INSERT BLOCK
Used to edit a new block. If the number assigned to the new block already exists,
the DRO will shift that block and the following ones one position.
Before pressing this softkey, select the block number to be edited by using the
keys. This block number will appear at the bottom of the
screen.
