4.2   SPECIAL LATHE MODEL FUNCTIONS

The VNP400 has the following special functions when selected to work as a lathe
model DRO by means of machine parameter P001 = LATHE.

CONE CALCULATION. It calculates the characteristics of a conic part.

RPM CALCULATION. It calculates the revolutions per minute required to obtain a

programmed cutting speed on the radial axis or it calculates the resulting cutting
speed on the radial axis from a given rpm value.
