Description
The 8 Input/2 Output node has all of the features of the 8x1 node, and provides an extra relay output.
The node also features ferrite beads for improved ringnet noise immunity, a resettable PTZ fuse, and an upgradeable
flash memory chip.
Input and output connections are the same as those of the 8x1 node. The connection blocks on the 8x2 are
removable.
햲
Front tamper bypass
The node monitors for front tamper.
햳
Upgradeable flash memory chip
. The chip can be upgraded using controller software.
햴
Infrared communications interface
Used for HHT communications .
햵
Outputs
Two on-board 3Amp single pole changeover relay outputs.
햶
Inputs
Eight on-board zone inputs, monitored using dual EOL supervision
.
햷
Auxiliary supply(12V)
Used to power auxiliary devices to a maximum of 200mA.
햸
PTZ fuse
200mA resettable.
햹
Power supply and current consumption
햺
Ringnet Communications
Connect the ringnet cable to the four terminals 1A to 2B.
Note
When using auxiliary power, you can reset the fuse by removing the connection block from the board
(thereby breaking the circuit), or by removing power to the board.
