Final Set
If Final Set variable is set to YES, an infinite exit time is started until a rel-
evant Zone with the PUSH attribute is opened. The System will then arm
3 seconds later (Set this timer using “
Push to SET Delay
” variable) and
the exit buzzer will stop.

Detector Reset
When the System or an Area is Set/Armed, this variable determines
whether the detector reset outputs will trigger. Used to unlatch any
detectors that have previously latched. The detector reset outputs will
turn on for 10 seconds and the setting of the System/Area will be delayed
until after the outputs turn off.
Note:
•All detector reset outputs that have been assigned will activate regard-
less of whether one Area is Set or the System is Part/Half/Full Set.
•The detector reset outputs are not logged in the system log.

Confirmation
Set Confirmation variable to YES to enable Confirmed Alarms (Garda Pol-
icy). If this variable is set to YES, and an Alarm activation occurs due to a
zone activation, a second zone activation within the Confirmed Time
period (see Confirmed Time variable below) will cause a confirmed
alarm and switch on the confirmed Alarm output (Output 9), and gener-
ate a SIA code “BV” for the confirmed zone. If a subsequent activation
does not occur within the Confirmed Time period then the Intruder Out-
put (Output 1) will switch back on. After this, another zone activation will
restart the confirmation timer.

DD243
Set this variable to YES to enable DD243 operation, and for DD243 Con-
firmed Alarms. If this variable is set to YES, and an Alarm activation
occurs due to a Zone activation, a second Zone activation within the
Confirmed Time period (see Confirmed Time variable below) will cause a
confirmed alarm and switch on the confirmed Alarm output (Output 9),
and generate a SIA code “BV” for the confirmed zone. If a subsequent
activation does not occur within the Confirmed Time period, then Out-
put 252 (Zone inhibit on Confirmed Alarm) will switch on and the Zone
input will be inhibited. This will be cleared when the System is unset. In
this case the Intruder Output (Output 1) will also switch back on. After
this, another zone activation will restart the confirmation timer.
Note:
In order to enable DD243 operation for confirmed alarms, the
Confirmation variable must also be set to YES.
