12. Enter a duration time of between one frame and 99:59 minutes. (Entering
zero assigns an infinite duration time. If duration is set to zero, the effect
runs until you clear it from the fader.) Duration time is the length of time
the effect runs after pressing [Go]. You can enter time either in minutes
and seconds or seconds and frames. (One second equals thirty frames.)
Note: Enter a decimal point between seconds and frames. (One second
equals thirty frames.)

14. For each style, some or all of the following modifiers are available
. Modifi-
ers are listed at the top center of the screen
. If you do not select any
modifiers, effect plays in standard mode
. Use the left and right arrow keys
to move the asterisk next to the modifier you want. Then press [Enter] to
select the modifier. If you do not select a modifier, the
PSC assumes that
you want the effect to run in standard mode.
Standard
The
PSC creates effects by holding channels at low levels and flashing
them to their high levels to create the effect.
Negative
When you select negative, instead of flashing channels to their high level
to create an effect, channels remain at their high levels and flash to their
low level to create the effect.
Alternate
This modifier alternates playing the steps back in standard and negative
modes
.
Build
The build modifier starts each sequence by setting all channels at their
low levels
. Each step flashes to full and stays there until the beginning of
the next sequence playback.
