Creating SMPTE programs
The
PSC allows you to create SMPTE programs in the SMPTE edit mode, or in
Learn mode.
SMPTE Edit
Follow these steps to create a SMPTE program from the SMPTE edit screen:
1.
Record the cue(s) you want to include in the program.
2.
Press [Edit SMPTE]. The
PSC displays the screen below. (SMPTE edit is a
blind display mode.)
3.
Enter the time of the first SMPTE event you want to create in hours,
minutes, seconds, and frames.
Note: Unlike entering times in other PSC operations, you do not need to
enter a decimal point to indicate frame time.
4.
Press [Enter]. A highlighted zero appears under
AB fader
, and the
PSC
prompts you to enter the number of the cue you want to assign to the AB
fader.
5.
Enter the desired cue number, or press [Enter] to move to the next fader.
6.
Press [At] to set a proportional output level for the cue assigned to the AB
fader.
7.
Enter a proportional level from 0 to 99 percent, or press [Full] (100 per-
cent). If you set a proportional level less than Full, the cue runs at a
percentage of its recorded output level.
Note: You do not need to set a proportional level for the cue. If you do not
enter a proportional level, cue outputs at recorded level.
