Keypad prompt window
This window indicates how the PSC will interpret the next number you enter
from the keypad
. For example, if you press [Chan], the keypad prompt window
displays the message
Channel
, indicating that the
PSC will read the next num-
ber you enter as a channel number.
π
Channel display
The channel display lists available channels and their current levels. If you have a
color monitor, the
PSC color codes level displays to provide additional informa-
tion about channels
. For example, in Blind mode tracked channels are green. See
the section

SMPTE time/cue description line
In Stage and Fader modes, the SMPTE time/cue description line displays current
SMPTE time in the center of the screen. If the PSC is receiving SMPTE time
code from an external source, the current time is displayed in green numerals
and the letter E appears to the left of the numerals. If the
PSC is operating on
SMPTE time code generated internally, the current time is displayed in yellow
numerals and the letter I appears to the left of the numerals. If the
PSC is not
receiving any SMPTE code, the message
SMPTE OFF
appears in place of a time
expression.
In Blind mode the SMPTE time/cue description line displays information about
the currently selected cue or group
. The summary includes cue or group num-
ber, up and down fade times, wait and delay times, fade type, and link informa-
tion, if applicable.
