Link
[Link] joins two or more recorded cues to one another so that they play back
automatically in the sequence in which you linked them. Each cue in the link
counts as one cue in the 400 cue limit.
[Link] also allows you to link macros to cues. When you link a macro to a cue, it
begins, as linked cues do, after the duration of the delay time.
To link cues to cues, or cues to macros, follow these steps:
1.
In either Stage or Blind, press [Cue].
2.
Enter the number of the first cue you want in linked sequence.
3.
Press [Link].
4.
To link the cue to another cue, enter the number of the second cue in the
linked cue sequence, then press [Enter].
To link the cue to a macro, press [Enter Macro], then enter the number of
the macro you want linked to the cue. Press [Enter].
5.
Enter a delay time and press [Enter].
Delay time is the length of time between the start of the first cue and the
start of the cue or macro to which it is linked. If you do not specify a delay
time, the
Expression Show Control System assigns a default delay time.
The default delay is equal to the total running time of the cue to which you
are linking the cue or macro.
The total running time of the linked cue sequence is either the upfade
time, or the sum of the wait and downfade times, whichever is greater.
The default delay time plays the entire first cue, then plays the second cue
(or macro) immediately afterward.
6.
To link more than two cues, repeat steps two through five for each linked
cue or macro.
Note: To change the delay time for a cue that is already linked to another
cue or a macro, select the first cue in the link, press [Link] twice, enter the
delay time, and press [Enter].
Example
[Cue] [1] [Link] [2] [Enter] [5] [Enter] links cue 1 to cue 2 with a five second delay
between the cues.
[Cue] [1] [Link] [Link] [6] changes the delay time to six seconds.
