Programming regions
Before you begin programming, design your worksheet regions by drawing
them on the worksheet tablet provided
. Place your drawing under the clear
plastic cover sheet, and you’re ready to start
.
To create new or edit existing regions and macros, follow these steps:
1.
Turn the
PSC on, then turn the digitizer on. You should see the message
DWS On
on the screen.
Note: Always turn the PSC on before you turn the digitzer on and turn the
digitizer off before turning the PSC off.
2.
With the worksheet pen, touch [Set Up]. The
PSC displays the Set Up
menu
.
3.
Select 14,
Edit Designer’s Worksheet
, and touch [Enter]
. The PSC
displays the screen illustrated below.
4.
To create a new region, enter the number you want
. Or select an existing
region either by touching the region on the worksheet or by entering the
number from the number pad
.
5.
Touch [Enter].
6.
To create a new region or to change an existing region, trace the area you
want to define for that macro number
. To keep an existing region, touch
[Enter].
The
PSC displays a highlighted
R
next to the macro number to indicate
that a region is defined for it.
7.
Touch desired keystrokes
. As you touch keys on worksheet, they are
displayed on the screen.
