This message appears when the Master 
Control Program cannot communicate 
with the BAPis Image Processor Board 
through the MCP/BAP Interface.

Write down the error message and notify an 
appropriate election official. If possible, 
shutdown and then turn off the Scanner. Wait 30 
seconds and then turn the Scanner back on. If 
the problem persists, an ES&S Service Technician 
will need to be contacted. Since the processor is 
a “COTS” (Commercial Off The Shelf) product, 
the ES&S Technician may have to contact a BAP 
Technician to diagnose the problem.
