Mode This parameter offers different
methods for choosing the PIDs
from the input demultiplexer The following modes are
available:
Manual: the user enters each
PID.
Stream: the system
automatically selects the first
video PID and audio PIDs
from the service having the
lowest service number.
Service: the user enters a
service number, and the
system automatically selects
the video and audio PIDs in
this service
Use video PID
Use video stream for
transcoding
(Video) PID
Audio PID selection PID identifying an audio stream
to transcode from the input
multiplex. It can be set to 0 not
to process the audio
DVB-Teletext PID identifying a Teletext stream
to transfer from the input
multiplex. It can be set to 0 not to
process the Teletext. When
output mode is “Smooth
Streaming”, Teletext will be
converted to TTML text track
in the smooth streaming
presentation.
DVB-Subtitle PID identifying a DVB-Subtitle
stream to transfer from the input
multiplex. It can be set to 0 not
to process the DVB-Subtitle
KLV PID identifying a KLV stream to
transfer from the input multiplex.
It can be set to 0 not to process
the KLV. Asynchronous KLV stream are
converted to synchronous.
SCTE-35 PID identifying the SCTE-35 to
transfer from the input multiplex
PID selection
Pid scan The Scan button is a facility
designed to discover the PIDs
from the input Transport Stream. The PID scanner use the
given IP address, UDP port
and Ethernet interface and
report back graphically what
was detected
