Using Logs
Event Log
The Event Log provides a record of significant events that have
occurred on the switch, such as hardware failures, degraded
operation, and port problems.

Event Log
All detected firmware faults and hardware failures are sent to the
Connectrix service processor for recording in the event log. The log
provides a maximum of 1000 log entries before it wraps and
overwrites the oldest entries.
Each log entry includes the following:
◆
Date/Time
— The date and time of the event on the switch.
◆
Event
— A unique code that identifies the event. The same code
that appears in the Product Manager Event Log also appears in
the operator panel Event Log.
